Advertising in Woodbury
The east metro's growth story and one of the highest-income cities in Minnesota. It is also the clearest example on this list of why geography beats channel mix: a Woodbury business buying the full Twin Cities DMA is paying to reach people forty miles away who will never be customers.
The Woodbury market
Woodbury sits at the meeting of I-494 and I-94 in Washington County, with Tamarack Village and Woodbury Lakes as its retail anchors and a substantial M Health Fairview presence. It has grown quickly and consistently for three decades and now rivals Bloomington and Brooklyn Park in population.
What makes Woodbury different to buy
High household income, newer housing — mostly built from the 1990s onward — and a family-heavy profile. Newer housing changes what is worth advertising: this is less of a windows-and-roofing market than an older suburb and much more of a market for kitchens, baths, decks, finished basements and outdoor living. It is also far enough east that broadcast, planned metro-wide, is mostly wasted on a Woodbury-only service area.
What we would put on the plan
Connected TV bought across the Washington County zip codes, and direct mail into the carrier routes matching the housing age you actually want. Both concentrate the money where the customers are instead of spreading it across two states. If broadcast is on the plan at all, it should be there to build the name, with the working budget placed locally.
Areas we cover in Woodbury
Tamarack Village and Woodbury Lakes, the Radio Drive corridor, City Walk and the Central Park area, Afton Road, Bailey Road, the Valley Creek corridor, Stonemill Farms.
Where to start
Tell us the zip codes you will actually drive to. In a metro this spread out, the service area changes the plan more than the budget does — and getting it wrong is how most of a good budget disappears. See how a plan gets built, or read why Connected TV has become the practical way to buy television against one city rather than sixteen counties.
Population is a US Census-based 2026 estimate via World Population Review. The Minnesota State Demographic Center's 2024 estimate differs slightly; both put Woodbury in the same position among metro cities.
Let's build the plan.
Tell us the market, the budget and what a win looks like. We will come back with a plan that says exactly where it goes and what it should return.
